To avoid having a countless number of local files with laboratory data with different versions moving around personal computers we decided to concentrate all the creation process inside the google spreadsheet service.
One of the most useful features of this google service is the creation of custom scripts for processing data.
In the current scope of the LabMap project, 3 main tasks will be covered by using custom scripts in the form of add-ons to simplify its use.
- Curate data
- Delete unused columns
- Clean cell content (section prefixes, time details)
- Replace cell content
- Export data for the public portals
- Merge data from different countries
